It was a pleasant surprise to sight a female Golden Oriole in our garden early in the morning today!It was hopping between trees and I had no idea that it was a Golden Oriole till I downloaded the files into the computer.
It was one bird that I have been wanting to sight and photograph for several years!
As these birds are usually found in tall trees with thick foliage, it is easy to miss them. They are less than 25 cms in length.
I was also able to listen to its birdsong!
Sometimes, there is along wait to sight some birds. When it happens, there is considerable delight!
