Three regular visitors!

A Drongo, Warbler and Magpie Robin visit our front garden almost daily! They are perched on trees adjacent to each other. They arrive and depart around the same time in the morning and evening.

Now that I have been at home for two weeks, I have had a new experiences of sighting different birds visiting the garden almost daily at different times of the day!

The proof of any garden being hospitable enough for birds is when they nest in the garden. I have not watched this for a while now. The frequent pruning or cutting of the trees following  storm and rain would be a probable reason for birds not feeling hospitable enough to nest in the garden.

I get a sense that some birds become comfortable with human presence. It is the sparrows that I miss as they take their hopping flights between trees. I sight them but cannot photograph them.

The birds leave a message every time they arrive and depart!

They have other spaces to explore.

The outer space is a wide expanse.

So also the inner space!

It is by being quiet in silence we begin the journey into the inner space! It is in the inner space we find ourselves and the ever present God! If we are more than our appearance, work, conversations, etc. them becoming silent by setting apart times is one way of finding treasures hidden in our inner space.

The daily journey inward is one authentic way of staying friendly, kind and close to ourselves. The consequence of this is: we become conscious of our neighbours.
