Birds, when small in size!

I am on an active effort to photograph small birds. It is difficult to spot them and often they give you an ultrashort sighting!

The bigger birds are not always fond of them! So naturally the small birds have a 'frightened behaviour' naturally. Their flight is faster than other birds, which human eye cannot trace.

So what is special about them. Ther are colourful, beautiful and elegant to look at. They keep trim and their feathers clean and shining. The sheer appearance is captivating!

One way to look for them is  to turn to bushy plants and wait to see sudden movements of leaves!  They move and fly away sighting any threat. So it important to be still and wait to spot the bird appearing from within the foliage. I have not been able to sue manual focussing for any of these pictures. Sometimes the automatic mode also is not good enough! When we crop the picture there is loss of sharpness.

So I have changed my approach - see them,  trace their movements and feel delighted!
