Another species of dragon fly!

The third photo is unedited, while the first two pictures are edited to make a contrast in different light condition.

What was striking about this dragon fly was its symmetrical wings and exquisite coloured in the wings.

I find that there is something different in each of the dragon flies I spotted, 13 of them to be precise, during the last tow months. Those features are species specific.

In terms of behaviour too there are differences. This particular dragon fly moved from one flower to another as if it was looking for something!

I find spotting a dragon fly is a stimulus to look for more in the garden!
