The rain drops on rose flowers! The rain drops look as if they are glued to the petals and leaves! But the rain drops are not sticky! It is the leaves and petals that make the water drops stay on them!
This has been lesson of growing significance for me. It is left to us to receive or reject what comes upon us.
Even when the recent floods came, those who anticipated and responded to the warning, escaped from the fury of the floods and even protected their household property by removing them to safe place! It is true that many suffered because they were not warned on time or refused to take the warning seriously.
This applies to our emotional health!
All of us need a conscious orientation to protect ourselves from reducing messages that come upon us. According to the school of Transactional analysis, we are conditioned by 'drivers and injunctions'. It is a good practice to go through a self audit periodically. The drivers and injunctions are good warnings for us to live freely and fully!
