This green small Barbet came seeking for its fruit feed to the papaya tree, and finding no ripe fruit, it turned to the adjacent tree which had papaya flowers for nectar.
I watched the gestures and body language of the Barbet. It indicated an disappointment. It flew away beyond my sight.
The bird life is no example for humans to draw any lessons from it.
However, for it was a story in adaptation. The bird moved from fruit to nectar instantly!
Sometimes we wait for too long to fulfil our expectations. But there is another way. Make good of the available opportunity!
