One, few and many!

The rose bushes in our garden are different. There are a few with just one flower, some with  few flowers and others with many flowers or buds.

This variance in their flowering behaviour is a pattern, excepting that the a bush with one flower may produce many flowers at another season. What controls this behaviour is not predictable considering that all rose bushes receive the same attention and care.

Our lives are similar to this phenomenon in nature.

We give ourselves to others conditioned by by how well we feel within ourselves. To nurture our wellness would mean that we live our lives attentively and regardfully of four needs.

Our personal growth provides us the inner space to think of others and offer out time and attention to others.

I watch some birds almost every day perched in a tree in our garden and groom their feathers in the sunshine.

They attend to their needs and are flight ready all the time.

When we give attention to take care of ourselves, we do better physically, mentally and spiritually!
