Although crows are residents and visitors in our garden, it is the first time I took a series of pictures to get a good view of this bird, which escaped my attention so far.
They are clever and good scavengers.
Everyday when Daffny is served her food in her kennel in the morning and evening, two crows would appear to feed from her bowl. While Daffny goes after one to chase it away, the second crow would come from the other end and escape with pieces of meat. Usually the two crows would be seen sitting on a parapet sharing the meat.
The crows are the most common birds, but not well thought of. Is it because they are black and big and is often talked about as an ugly bird!
I find that they are one of the best groomed birds.
