One senses the emotion in a bird call as we listen to it for a while. There is change in its loudness, tune, pitch and character! For a bird, the response it receives is crucial. So it puts everything to make the bird call sound friendly, sensual, and endearing! A male bird searches for its pair, when it is singing away!
Our communication is to invite friendships. Our acts of kindness or deeds of mindfulness facilitate relationships.
It is important to be alert to audit the way we communicate!
Yesterday an administrative officer dropped in to enquire about my health, following my recent chest infection! He cared enough to enquire and leave thoughts of encouragement. He was truly friendly! His manners and keen interest made it obvious that he was communicating at a heart level!
That was a message to remind me that who we are to others is what finally matters!
