There is a lot in the air about tree planting.
But let me engage in a campaign for planting flowering plants!
When I was walking in a hospital campus recently, I was pleasantly surprised to find many flowering plants in the campus. It is true that the flowering plants need lot of attention and regular care than trees. The flowers bring butterflies, dragon flies, caterpillars, sun birds, squirrel, insects, etc. The plants consume little of the ground water and contribute to the oxygen cycle effectively.
A lawn, flowering plant beds, and scattered garden benches convert an open space a restful place for leisure!
Th flowers have a pealing appeal to our mind. It has a distressing effect. It causes to redeem the artistic optic that resides hidden within us.
The medians along the high ways often have flowering plants. It is purposefully done that way during the high way planning.
I have ben campaigning that each family practices planting flowering plants.
