An afternoon with friends!

A visit from friends in the department of the hospital where Anna and I work gave us a refreshing time yesterday afternoon. It was thier first visit to our home.

They spent time playing with Dulcie, visited some spots in the farm, walked on the foot path around the cottage and seemed most relaxed.

For most of them, the dog experience was rather new. Dulcie obliged to be stroked and carried. Anna and I were glad that they took the effort to come that too eight of them travelling in a car which can take only four passengers apart from the driver normally. It looked as though that too was fun!

When I recall the last seven years in the department, what stands out is the experience of getting to know many professionals. Although the average time the young professionals spend in the department IS around 18 months, the experience of knowing them and working with them is a delightful experience. Some of them who live and work overseas now keep in touch and visit us when they come to India.

Anna and I look forward to going to work, because relationships in our work place bring abundance of goodwill to our lives!
