This is the first time I am sighting a a Racket-tailed Drongo with only one 'streamer' in its tail instead of the usual two!

Is it a variation or is it a new species! Could it be that this drone lost one streamer in the tail accidentally!
This Drongo with a one streamer, a few with two streamers and some others with no tail streamers visit our garden every morning. It is their birdsong that alert me of their presence.
Anna and I feel encouraged by the sighting of family of birds in our garden, which is what we missed for a while since the rain and flood in August, 2018.
