To all the health care professionals who treated and contained the corona infection in the last three months, let us send them 'three cheers' for showing us the way!
From December, 2019 they valiantly fought the corona infection and now life is returning to normalcy with no local spread of infection for a while now! They lost many in their fight, but have shown the rest of the world their resolve to contain it and conquer the disease making it possible for the scientists else where to focus on development of a vaccine!
Every evidence or anecdote about treating those affected, steps of breaking the chain of transmission and applying the public health measures widely, which we now practice globally have come to us from the experience of health professionals in China. They even built hospitals in three weeks to cope with the unprecedented numbers of patients and are now ready to dismantle them! Theirs was a historic fight to contain a pandemic hither to unknown to us in our generation!
What a contribution by pioneering in an unusual way! They did not give up the fight even they were loosing many lives every day!
