Reading habit!

It is mot unusual to watch a child reading a book while waiting for consultation in the department! Mostly they play with toys or watch other sites such as the aquarium in the waiting area.  However this boy seemed engaged in his picture book!

The average reading time some parents have with their children is less than half an hour. The habit of reading with children or reading to them is one way of initiating conversations and thought sequences. Children who are introduced to such a habit are more likely to have greater interest to read by themselves!

This boy can only read the picture sequences and he does so and construct the story line from the picture sequences.

This is the beginning before sight reading is possible. Most children can read words even before they recognise alphabets if they are helped to sigh read the text while we read it to them!
