Shades of light!

The four photographs represent four different light exposure levels! There is an incremental clarity of the tree with more light falling on it!

The sunlight brightens the objects and nature.

The sunlight is external to us.

I found this as a learning experience.

The tree in the last photo is distinct from all the other three photos.

Had I not seen the fourth picture, I would not have had the details of the trunk, branches or leaves!

I feel rather ashamed of my habit of forming quick opinions from a limited understanding of situations, people's behaviour, administrative decisions, government policies, conflict situations, etc.

I remember a situation when a child was struggling with the decision of his parents to move him out of his present school to another school close by! He appeared lost as he would loose friends and all the facilities in the school which he was used to for five years. His father was anticipating a transfer to an out station and his mother was more comfortable if he was in a nearby school in which case he could go to school by bi-cycle. These reasons overuled the child's choice.

As we negotiated with the family his parents became aware of the intense disturbance the child would face if the school was changed. In fact he was to be the class leader and sports captain for his house in the next academic year.

We need insight before we interpret situations. Insight is knowledge fuelled by strands of informations from all domains!

The message that comes to me is that it is infantile to make judgements based on first impressions or superficial perspective. Seek for insight.
