Mango trees in full blossom

All the mango trees have seasonal flowers now. This one will soon be a bunch of mangoes.

The tree becoming a fruit bearer happens once a year!

A mango tree has a bare look for the rest of six months of the year! It takes six months or so to be ready for bearing fruits.

Jesus of Nazareth took thirty years, most of which was engagement in His family occupation of carpentry, before He spent three or so years in living His life publicly engaging in the lives of others, preaching, visiting, travelling, mentoring, healing, making Him known as the Lord who cared!

Life is long years of preparation and a short duration of effective or vicarious living!

A recent article seems to refer to 70 to 80 years as the second best season of effectiveness in one's life, next to the the best season of 60 to 70 years.

That was a refreshing news to me! We live long to prepare ourselves to bear fruits for others!
