The road and its pavement was people friendly in a city Anna and 1 recently visited! The pavement was access friendly!
To me it is a language and announcement of inclusiveness!
In a welfare state, this is an essential feature of planning!
Yesterday, I was doing an audit of the department where I work! How much it is a friendly place to all those who come! About thirty or so parents with tier children might visit the place most of the days of the week! I have a list of things in my mind that would be needed to make it people friendly!
What matters is not the financial returns when we plan but how much we have reached out even to the least or those different from the usual!
