In the wind the slender grass was swaying. The dragon fly appeared to be resting while being swayed by the wind! It was a sight that brought an awakening within me! The water drop at the end of the leaf too stayed on the leaf even when the leaf was moving! The drop moved a bit but did not fall off!
Living comfortably when swayed!
I recall how I felt swayed recently when the wall adjacent to the stream collapsed in our property in the rain! It was the mason, Roy who came to our rescue. The building of the wall looked rather difficult in the monsoon season. But Roy would not give up. The wall below was built in three weeks inspite of a few interruptions.
Roy had a mild injury to his wrist. A cobra snake who was dislocated from its hiding place during the excavation of the earth interrupted on a few days by stubbornly occupying the space. There were interruptions from the rain. I watched how Roy stayed unmoved! Roy and the dragon fly have a similar behavioural response to the circumstance. Swayed, but stay!
Another lesson for living amidst difficulties !
I liked the way Roy showed readiness to befriend difficulties. His readiness was marked with an action plan! His resilience was stronger than the force of the adverse wind!
Humans are bestowed with capacity to survive difficulties!
I witnessed this one more time!
