This tree with most of its leaves having fallen off, during the autumn, after having had colourful leaves, reminded me of seasons in life, when we are less than our usual self!
The transition times in our lives could become a season of weariness and anxiety!
However, what this sight predicts in the life of this tree, all being well, is the spring season after winter is over, when it shall return to its full foliage!
In fact, this is the cycle of life for most trees in non-tropical climate.
I like this imagery of this hope!
It is important to stay inwardly cheerful, while passing through dry spells or desert experience in life, because they are sandwiched between the good seasons behind and ahead. The spring shall restore the tree to its fullness.
The blue sky with clouds in the horizon and the sunlight shining on the tree, add to the richness of this time. We are covered by the canopy of the abiding presence of God, who watches over us!
