I watched this bird, a black Drongo, perched at the edge of a splintered branch of a tree! I would not have noticed the branch but for the bird on it.
This broken and splintered branch is at risk of survival. But it is a provision for a bird as a flight station.
It was an elderly person, who is a cobbler, who paid and arranged to hire an ambulance to take a person injured in a scooter accident to the hospital! This happened in the adjacent village to ours. He is a socially and economically bruised person, but provided help to a stranger!
Some of us live bruised and battered lives owing to the many events in our lives and excuse ourselves from being available to others.
Those who suffer pain feel the pain of others and respond spontaneously!
This is the vicarious effect of pain and suffering. We become even more caring!
