I have suspicion that the best natural display of colours in nature are often in flowers, Butterflies and birds. I remember one artist telling me that she gets ideas of mixing colours from watching flowers, butterflies and birds.
In the above photos, there is a bird with a white coat, two with a dark multicolour coat, a third one in a light multicolour coat and the fourth one in pastel colours.
In each of these birds, there is a a richness and exuberance of colours. I do not have an ultra sensitive lenses to get these colours even more distinct.
When a design and colour are well blended then a bird's body is a like a piece of art.
This form of colour complexion is one among the several mysteries in nature.
One environmentalist who is into planting trees told me that, 'if only we know that we are destroying a mystery in nature when we cut a tree, we would avoid or delay cutting it'!
When birds perch in a tree they make tree also colourful!
The complexion of colours we find in birds do influence the way we use e colours in our day to day life experiences. I discovered this from a child of five years, who when she drew the dress for her mother in her pencil sketch, she used the colours she saw in the Parakeets in her garden!
Flowers, Butterflies and Birds educate us about using colours in visual art!
