The morning round!

There is a family of jungle Babblers resident in the Ashoka tree in our garden.

Every morning about seven of them move about in the garden doing different morning rounds of their favourite spots.

I found one Babbler doing similar things for a week.

The similar sequence it followed looked interesting. I can't be sure that it is the same Babbler. But I presume it to be the same Babbler as the sequence is he same each morning.

Finally it joins its pair in the cable and together they fly away to the beyond.

I like this ritual. Both Babblers have an individual pursuit in the morning as well as being together.

The freedom to be oneself and the call to be together, two different vocations in a relationship.

It is this duality which when threatened, there are difficulties in relationships within a family. Now that both Anna and I are at home, I realise how both of us do different things during the day but meet together few times for our shared times. The individual space and the collective space together create the fullness needed in any relationship!

We learn and grow individually and together. That when becomes the agreed ambience in a marital relationship both grow together. Each time we meet to share our experiences with each our, we meet at a different plane of mutuality and regard.

The freedom to be one self and the longing to be one in intimacy, is  life giving and offers renewal and freshness in relationships in marital life!
