I watched this squirrel shell a Rambutan fruit!
It plucked it from the tree, held it between its paws. It took a bite of the shell to create an opening into the pulp of the fruit. It held the remaining shell between its paws and pulled it down while biting one end of the pulp between its teeth. It pulled out the shell and captured the pulp of the fruit and relished eating it.
The birds would eat from fruit by pecking the fruit.
What fascinated me was a well planned step by step action plan!
Its ingenuity is surprising to say the least!
