An impression and reality!

This was the first flower in tis rose plant since we planted it three months ago. From a distance it looked similar in colour although a striking pink. Out of curiosity, I drew closer only to be surprised by the designs on the flower.

I received a message from this sight. There is a difference in reality when viewed from a distance and proximity! I feel awful for occasions when I felt trapped and content by a distant view especially while relating to others.

Yesterday in. Zoom meeting with a few friends who support ASHIRVAD, I realised how each person was asking questions to have a closer view of what is developing for the future  of ASHIRVAD. One land mark is that the day care and school for special children at St Andrew's church, Chennai is now in its thirty seventh year, the Early Learning Centre at Nagpur in its thirtieth year and the Developmental Paediatrics Unit at CMC Vellore about to enter into its 25th year in 2022. That is the distant view. What then is the view from proximity! That is what they were keen to know. Anna and I were immensely encouraged by thier desire to stay in touch with us by seeking for a close-up view.

As we passed the audited statement of accounts for the last financial year for ASHIRVAD what surprised us was again was this message of many who were closely involved in this mission by giving generously.

You know people from a distance, but experience them when in touch with them closely! So it is one thing to know and yet another thing to have an experience!
