A new flower in our garden!

Hibiscus is the national flower of Malaysia, which was declared on 28th July, 1960. It was introduced to the country in 12 the century. It is known as the 'celebratory flower' in Malay language. In Hati the flower is unofficially the national flower. Sri Lanka and South Korea have postal stamps to recognise this flower.

We have planted five species of the Hibiscus in our garden after the monsoon.
