A Myna has found its nest! Now it might be searching for its partner as it is the season of nesting for them.
A trunk of a coconut palm which is disintegrating with its centre still fibrous is a good nesting place for some birds. Some birds borrow the nests of other birds abandoned after their nesting. Some other birds look for hiding places wherever they can find.
How fortunate the birds are as they do not have to become burdened to make a nest for themselves. They make a nest with whatever they can find around them!
Since I have noticed myna birds in our garden in good numbers recently, I hope some of them would make their nests in our garden.
Anna and I are still working on a bird friendly garden!
