Until the guava fruits were ripe the, Barbets resident in our garden fed on papaya fruits. Now that the guava fruits are almost ripe, Barbets have turned to them.
We have a bird feed and bath adjacent to the guava tree, but birds do not find that good enough!
For a month now, Barbets alone have the right over the guava fruits!
Knowing the preference of birds and squirrels for guava fruits, we have now planted three more saplings in the garden, hoping that they would spare some fruits for us!
