As we celebrate the 4th anniversary of the developmental Paediatrics and child Neurology service at MOSC Medical College, I feel glad that we are able to offer a new service to parents and children. Some parents have asked for some demonstration of child development facilities which they can create at home. That is what is provided in this room! It depicts childhood through pictures, charts, toys and narration covering infancy, toddler years, preschool years, early school years, pre-adolescent years and adolescent years!
It was conceived and executed by the staff in the department. The room was decorated by Caren, Anjali, Rhea and Thomas, the present batch of interns, who have kept in touch with the progress of the department!
As visitors spend time in this room, we realise how a small effort goes a long way to create more awareness about the need of fostering a friendly childhood environment at home!
