I was captivated by the attentiveness two children expressed this while Anna was engaging them.
Anna has a way with young children, which did not surprise me. But even the infant had her face turned towards Anna.
Both children showed attentive faces.
The conversation lasted about two minutes!
It was about the fish in the Acquarium, which is an interesting topic for Anna to talk with young children.
This dispelled for me, one more time the parental beliefs, that children are not attentive and are crazy for the visual media!
When we engage children at their level, they come with us in the conversational journey, which is what most children look forward to! Children engage with adults, who offer to be a child's conversational companion!
