The cycle of life!

A rose flower is now dropping its petals after its life span!

The leaves in the plant look eaten by caterpillars. The two buds stand out as its resolve to be resilient.

This caught my attention because I was in the shadow of loss for two days.

Our lives encounter gains and losses.

Finally life itself is a story of how we live when we feel challenged and tested!

Whether it is a gloom created by COVID 19 or economic recession,  job losses or receiving a reduced salary, there is something beyond all of these.

A labourer told me yesterday that he has enough food at home each day! He gets only one third of what he was getting every week from his work. He seemed to look at the two buds rather than the drooping flower.

While staying in touch with some friends telephonically during this difficult time, I heard stories of many being at cross roads with burdens and disturbances that are too much for them to bear.

This is the time to be even more mindful of others. It is in sharing the burdens of others we spread goodwill and kindness!

The two buds in this plant is a message of hope!
