A butterfly, an assembly of crows and a dragon fly, in the morning yesterday in our garden!
The crows assemble when there is something unusual- is it related to the heavy rains forecast for this week end and early next week!
The butterflies appear when there is a dry spell in between the rains.
The dragonflies search for clean environment and stay put in some plants.
In accidental slip from my part, while clearing the e-mails, my inbox got deleted. I have spent the last two days trying to retrieve the mail. I made no progress.
I feel awful as many documents of some significance are lost! Now I have to live with memories only!
It was during an in between time of this 'anxious striving', I went out to walk in the garden to find the above sights.
I returned from the walk, refreshed because, there are larger events beyond what we are personally engaged with. Those events need more attention than our personal matters!
It was during this season last year, there was flooding and great losses. Even in our village, people recall the deluge of last year.
Now, with the COVID 19, the temporary shelters needed to protect people who liv sin low lying areas are many more than what was needed last year as physical distancing is a requirement to avoid the spread of infection.
Our lives are in state of change with the challenges surrounding us. This is most stressful to say the least.
So watching the butterfly and the dragon fly rest in the bushes, while the crows assembled on a coconut tree with their cacophony, was a contrast. The butterfly and the dragon fly carried on usually. The crows looked agitated.
No matter what happens to us personally or all around us, the way to live is restfully!
Our inner orientation is a gift from God!
I became even more aware of this yesterday!
