I watched this performance artist a tree pie bird, at a height of about 100 meters high hanging on a coconut palm leaf and swinging in the air with a bird song in between! It was a spectacular sight lasting for a minute or so. To see it swing from side to side and reach almost a vertical posture from its horizontal position was a rare sight!
Who else was watching this in rapt attention from a close by tree! A Barbet!
I find birds amusing and revealing!
They live freely and fully!
They are the birds of the air about which Jesus of Nazareth once said, 'they do not sow or reap but their heavenly father cares for them'!
