They were four friends who lived in the hostel at MOSC and kept their friendships vibrant by sharing many common experiences. The evening times after work were memorable occasions for them because they cooked together and shared in making their lives richer by listening to each other and bringing freshness to work each day in the Developmental Paediatrics and Child Neurology.
Feby and Seena got married and left recently to join their husbands overseas. They were exceptional professionals who made the department come alive even more by their dedicated service, academic contribution and creative interests and skills.
I happened to have a brief conversation with Femine and Femy, who are still with us, two days back. They are still in a state of transition following their two friends moving on to begin their family lives.
I noticed these two birds in a blissful mood, which to me was a symbol of what Seena and Feby are meant to experience in the next phase of their lives. Anna and I wish Seena and Feby the joy of family life and a cheerful work atmosphere in their overseas setting.
Anna and I felt moved by an extravagance of their thoughtfulness by gifting us with a flower pot, diary and our caricature! Both of them remain in our thoughts because they have been special people in the department by making all of us in the department feel connected to them by their goodwill and charming ways!
