The Pandemic effect!

I come across many more dogs on the roads in the recent months. Most stray dogs normally lived near restaurants from where they received the left over food. With the restaurants having been closed, the dogs stray in to the streets looking for food. There were incidents of dogs taking away food packets from pedestrians. Hungry and battered, they become aggressive!

I also read stories from the newspapers of how some animal lovers come to the road side to feed the dogs. These dog feeding stations are places where animal lovers gather and try enticing some of them to become pets. The dog lover's clubs have come up in soem places to rehabilitate these dogs!

I stopped to watch the behaviour of these dogs. They allowed vehicles to pass by. I waited for ten minutes to watch if they treated the pedestrians alike! But none came walking during that time!

The pandemic of COVID 19 has left with us new stressful situations!

What is amazing is the way humans are responding to overcome them!

A colleague of mine has been feeding a cat which was left stranded. It is when we feel stressed and learn from that experience, we can feel the stress of others!

The pandemic has also been a journey into learning to live conscious of the needs of others!
