Seven shades of a colour!

I feel challenged by the lessons, one can learn from nature.

When I looked at the  photographs of red rose flowers in our garden, I was surprised by the hues of red colour. The difference might be little, but each red hue is distinct. Each hue of colour offers the flower a distinct identity.

None of us are similar in perception, view points or thinking even in a family! It is the way we think which offers us an identity and uniqueness.

What happens if this uniqueness becomes a reason for disagreement or quarrel! I heard a story yesterday of disagreements in thinking leading to breakdown of cordiality and and trustful negotiation.

No opinion might be superior to the others, but there might be an issue of relevance or appropriateness in a given context, because of which only one opinion can prevail when a decision has to be made. Th choice of one decision is not a negation of the significance of the other person or his her views, but the decision is made in pursuit of the collective good at that time.

I wish we would be true explorers of all shades of view points of others with whom we relate and work.

Each shade of opinion is an asset for the journey towards the whole!
