The post monsoon season is the time when many plants flower and show forth their fruits. The black pepper and guava in this blog indicate something of the new beginnings.
All new beginnings have something unusually inspiring about them.
After a season quiescence, the plants come to give away what they were getting ready for!
The contemplatives look at this phenomenon with considerable attention.
It is in interior quietness, new ideas, thoughts or insights are received which might be critical and defining!
Jesus of Nazareth returned to the mountain to pray after sending His followers to the other side across the sea. It was during that solitude, Jesus 'saw' with his inward eyes the followers caught in a storm in the sea. He reached out to them by walking on water and joined them in the boat, which stilled the sea.
We are action driven and task oriented.
In between all actions, there is an interface of 'silence', when we descend to the depth of our self through a meditative process to come in touch with the song and tune of our soul, where God is present! Silence is time of inner communion.
It is from this communion we move form our depth to the depth of what beckons our attention!
