The colour of the custard apple changes when it is ripe. The one with the yellowish tinge is ready as a fruit. When the pulp inside has become soft and edible, the fruit receives a new colour outside.
It is the inside which defines the outside.
Our attitudes, thoughts, and aspirations determine our outer expressions !
It is for this reason, the habit of prayer and reflection help in knowing the inner longings with which we live.
Our outward responses and reaction reflect the inner state of our lives!
We can turn our lives to bring refreshment to others, when we live our lives composed and recollected.
At the last weekend, I realised it even more through a personal experIence. I felt agitated over a slip in someone's behaviour about which when I reflected afterwards, reminded me of the need of greater self composure to bring comforting and healing touch in difficult situations!
Our inner wellness is life giving to us and others!
