Being ourselves in a community !

Some rose bushes in our garden have a long history. They still flourish and give flowers perennially. They are smaller in size and the petals are loosely arranged in the flower. They have linear and connecting designs on the petals, giving a mosaic look. They survive only for three to five days. When we use them in a flower vase, they droop by the second day.Their petals do not fall off, but dry up and remain crumbled for several days. When we crush the dried petals, they give an aroma similar to what the fresh petals offer.

These types of roses do not have any commercial or ornamental value for flower arrangements.

They give a rich look to the garden as each bush would have many flowers most of the time.

It is one species of rose flowers, which does not attract insects and fungus. So they do not need insecticide spray. They do not need much protection or attention, except manuring or watering.

These rose bushes thrive in all weather conditions and give a floral look to the garden,

It occurred to me today that these rose bushes make the garden look colourful through the year, whereas most other plants give only seasonal flowers!

They too have place in the garden! Together with other plants, they create a fraternity of plants.

In a similar way, each of us contributes to create our neighbourhood of relationships ! We do not live in our private space, but in a common space to form a community!
