International day for women!

One way Saly and Shantha helped to celebrate the International Women's day in the department where I work, was making some candles, in preparation for the Easter cheer planned for 8th April 2022.

I am amazed at the way they find time amidst all the responsibilities of house keeping they do  to keep the regular work going at the Early Learning Centre and  the Child Development Centre. I feel encouraged the way they get the support from all the professionals in the department for helping then to express their creative skills.

Women at home, work place and in public roles amaze us in the way they balance their multiple roles. Women make a difference because they have a serving spirit even when they feel marginalised or silently suffer. I listen to many stories of women at my work place, who endure and stay focussed even in difficult situations.

Three cheers to all women who live to give themselves to serve !
