All along my way to work I come across mango trees with fruits. It is a welcome sight as the mango trees announce their presence through fruit bearing every year during this season!
In our garden there are some fruits, but not mangoes although we have six mango trees.
But the other fruits which we look forward to relishing in summer are in plenty in our garden!
One special aspect of summer season when there are some fruits, is the arrival of new birds. A barbet family is in our garden now and they come because their favourite fruits are in the garden
We do not attempt to chase them away because a bird friendly garden is lot more fascinating than the loss of fruits to them.
On another benefit of welcoming birds in the garden is the prospect some of them nesting in the garden.
The tunes of the morning and the movements of the birds between the trees make us feel that we have guests who come to greet us. Life could be lonely had it not been for these visitors through the day!
