Some birds are not comfortable when humans approach them! I watched this bird, Red-whiskered Bulbul, wanting to hide away from the camera! At least now I know the place, it might revisit for berries, now that the rain is in respite!
However its exquisite beauty is captivating! It lives close to human habitations as long it is made hospitable. I realised that it is during July and August this species of Bulbul look for nesting. I hope it would find a welcome place in our garden.
Birds are 'winged wonders' and some seek human acquaintances. Bird sighting calls for a discipline of being aware of the needs of the birds and habitat patterns.
