The butter cups do not survive the heavy down pour. Some roses droop and drop their petals. Some other rose flowers show withstand the rain, but show signs of being scarred! The last photo depicts that clearly.
How much are we affected by our circumstances. Yesterday, a call from a colleague with whom I have had long years of association called to enquire about my wellness after a bruising experience while being involved in the governance of an institution.
That call brought back many memories of disturbance and confusion. Relationships are founded on trust and truth. When either or both get shaken, then relationships become sour!
If the 'salt has lot its flavour', it has lost its function.
It is good to keep a watch on these dual realities- how much of our relationships are built on trust and truth!
Returning to this grounding is the only way we can redeem or revisit relationships! Even then, there are times, when the past experiences help in re-caliberating relationships...!
The recovery of relationships is a long process! Sometimes the petals soaked in rain do not recover. That too is a reality! The outcome of broken relationships are tentative and nebulous, excepting in marriage relationships, where there is a resolve to be reconciled because of the vow to stay committed to each other for the whole life time!
