A tree becomes timber and a bucket empties itself!

A tree became Timber and a Bucket emptied its content of water spontaneously each time it is full!

These two images brought me insights to ponder upon!

A fallen or felled tree is now, a timber waiting to be used appropriately!  A tree has another long life ahead when the timber is used for furniture, doors, windows, chairs, tables, roofing etc.

Every time the bucket is filled with water, it empties itself and adds to the volume of water circulating between the pool and the pipes. It also provides entertainment for the visitors who come to the water pool.

The timber and water become useful, when they are used!

I called the internet provider this morning as the internet was not connecting. He came promptly. He works for a government owned company of telephones and internet! His comment was that during the last twenty years, this company which was the leader in this field, has been almost dysfunctional now, due to neglect by the management and subversion of its interests by its own employees. A government owned company, meant to be in service mode, is now marginalised by private companies who drive the market!

What spoke to me was the comment of the technician, 'We can be useful to the customers or use the company to benefit the employees'! The employees in this company are the best paid employees in the telecom sector in India, with no corresponding accountability or productivity.

A tree becomes timber, a bucket empties itself and an employee usurps   benefits to oneself!

This contrasting functions got me thinking! Humans are conditioned to live mindfully and responsibly. But humans can fail themselves and others with whom they have a natural relationships!

Amidst this contrasting ways, there are many who live with an attitude of service and availability. That was the mindset I noticed in the technician, who came to restore internet connectivity!

We can celebrate the wellness, such people bring to our lives!
