I watched this pair of Drongo birds in a teak tree at sunrise yesterday. Suddenly both of them began singing to each other reciprocally. That was the way the birds announced their togetherness! I stayed watching and listening to this moving dimension in a relationship! A language of communication!
How much we communicate to each other heartily within our families and place of work!
A birdsong is the way the birds connect to each other. The tunefulness in that bird call is inviting and captivating! It is the bird song with which a bird seeks out for its partner!
There is a language of intimacy when a pair of birds sing to each other. It was obvious from the change in the body language while they were singing!
I notice from several experiences recently how relationships become cold and distant! Instead of feeling the blessing of togetherness, there is a simmering suspicion about each other or antagonism leading to a change in attitude and behaviour. This makes our work places dry and monotonous!
The ambience within, when is openness and a welcoming orientation, others become resources of encouragement and companionship!
To see in others abundance of goodness is a calling! It is when we notice, value and refer to small acts of kindness and thoughtfulness we upbuild each other!
It is when we get used to appreciate the good within us, we get in to the habit of pointing out the good in others.
Look out for something that you can see in others which need a reference in our conversation with that person! Life is an opportunity to bring hope and cheer to others!
