A bag with food to cook and firewood on the head !
It is common sight in rural areas even today! Sometimes they woeful carry a pot of water on the other hand supported at the hip!
I feel life is not easy for many !
Talking to a few from this village mad me realise that the 'trickle down effect' of modern living conditions is a philosophy which the economists advocate, but it is far from reality!
I have often wondered whether organised communities like churches can have more planned involvement in their neighbourhood to reach out to people living in the margins of society!
Our neighbours are people who live in adverse circumstances!
