This is the yield from the nutmeg trees from our garden on one day. For about three months every year, our helpers have the chore of gathering the nutmeg everyday and drying them! As the yield is during the monsoon season with the cloudy whether and little of sunshine, it is a challenge to dry them!
Since Anna and I came to live in my parent's cottage five years back, we planted another fifty more nutmeg saplings. Some of them yielded fruits at the end of three years!
We do not have even elementary knowledge of farming. So we feel grateful because we gather, for which we have not laboured much!
Is it not true in most situations in our lives!
