A drooping rose flower and two buds in the garden yesterday caught my attention from a distance. It represented to me the theme of life; the transitions in life and the Christmas message.
From Incarnation as the babe at Bethlehem manger, to the resurrection from the grave at Golgotha, Jesus lived calling all of us, to come to Him. The Good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. That was what happened beginning from the incarnation of Jesus to the ascension after His death and resurrection.
Though that life Jesus lived on the earth, He awakened all those who turn to Him to feel loved, forgiven and healed. That message and mission of God is still alive and vibrant, which is what came to me as I noticed the two buds adjacent to the rose flower.
Each Christmas season is an awakening time for experiencing God's abiding love!
