I watched this parakeet moving from one flowering tree to another in the evening time. The nectar seeking is a regular habit for some birds.
A gardener recently told me that it is a good practice to plan for making a garden, keeping in view of giving shelter and offering feed for the avians!
We grow plants for ourselves primarily.
We can grow plants and vegetables keeping in view of the interests of the avians whom we want to invite to the garden!
Making a garden friendly for avians, butterflies, bees and other insects is also a mission while gardening!
