A waterfall!

After a long time, Anna and I visited a waterfall! What an opportunity to see and hear the waterfall! In the silence of the woods, we could hear the sound of the flowing water form a distance and the continuous bubbling sounds of the falling water on the stream of water flowing downward!

The clear and still water at the edge of the pool of water which was flowing to disappear into a winding path of the stream was a sight that held our attention!

This perennial waterfall do bring visitors to the place. During the one hour we spent there we noticed families and single trekkers staying at the waterfall in awe of its inspiring presence.

The place looked serene and well kept, as if people regarded the serenity of the place with immense regard to keep it that way.

Although we did not notice any aqua life in the pool of water, the water feeds the soil and nourishes the trees in its vicinity and all along the stream that flows below.

I watched a bird perched on a tree, not too far from the waterfall watching the movements of people! There were bird calls around. The birds live from this water source.

The foot path leading to the waterfall was safe for walking! That gave an indication of the safety measures that are inherent to make it a visitor friendly place!

We walked back, some of which involved climbing up, with some places marked out, for looking out into the mountains and valleys beyond.

The waterfall, hidden away in a quiet hill, with breathtaking views on the way and back gave us a pleasant holiday experience !

I like the way visitors keep that place hospitable for others to come and have a similar experience of delight and discovery!
