This is the stair case leading from the college canteen to the main block of the college where I work. Fo the last three weeks, I watched this anthill at the base of the wall growing in size and black ants crawling in and out! Even the rain almost every day does not stop them! They are now gathering for themselves food and creating shelter ahead of the winter and summer months!
The writer to the Proverbs, in the Bible, wrote, 'Learn from the ant..' !
What do I learn from the ant!
They quietly fend for themselves and live hidden for most part of the year!
Theirs is a quiet existence!
They take care of themselves and each other!
They are large in number in a colony!
They live collaboratively and connectedly!
They provide for each other !
Some reminders of how we as humans are called to live!
